How It Works
Utah runs a medical-only program. Three steps stand between you and the counter.
Book with Cannabuddy, or talk to your own doctor. A Utah-licensed QMP evaluates whether you have a qualifying condition and submits a recommendation on your behalf. Many providers offer telehealth visits.
Create a Utah ID account, then apply through the state’s Electronic Verification System. Your provider’s recommendation links to your application.
Apply on the state siteBook a consultation (in person or virtual) or walk in — every new patient meets our pharmacist before their first pickup. Bring your card and a photo ID; we’ll walk you through the menu, dosing, and what fits what you’re treating.

About Us
Boojum is a Utah-grown cannabis company founded by Moabites and built on a shared belief that cannabis has the power to change lives, whether on an individual level, in the broader community, or on a global scale. From the very beginning, Boojum has specialized in crafting scientifically driven medical formulas backed by evidence-based research. This is because we know that cannabis is a powerful medicine, and we believe that Utah patients deserve safe, effective, and affordable options to access it.
It is our goal to bring these values and commitments home to Grand County. Boojum has been shaped by the same principles since our founding: uplifting community, prioritizing science and education, and making plant medicine accessible to all Utah patients. As a medical cannabis pharmacy, we are eager to bring this mission to our hometown of Moab, and for the opportunity to offer our community knowledgeable support, patient education, and access to clean, effective, life-changing medicine.
“Made in Utah. Crafted by locals.” It’s stamped on the badge because it’s the whole point.
Why Boojum
We don’t have a hundred and fifty locations to spread ourselves across. We have this one, in the town we’re from, and it gets all of it.
A licensed pharmacist is on site every hour the doors are open — not a call line, not a chat bot. Ask the awkward questions.
We hire locally, host education nights, work with Moab-area providers on the card process, and put money back into Grand County.
Walk in, or order ahead and grab it curbside.

Flower, edibles, vapes, capsules, concentrates, topicals — they behave differently, they last different amounts of time, and the right starting dose is almost always smaller than people expect.
We put together a plain-language booklet covering forms, dosing, onset times, and what to raise with your provider. It’s free, and you don’t need a card to read it.
